Party time!!

I would like to start off by saying I have the most AMAZING family, friends, and community members!! When I first made the commitment to spend a year in Cambodia, the most difficult part was that I would not see most of these people until I return after my year of service. I am fortunate enough to have all these people that love and support me greatly, and that made my decision easier (but it was still difficult!).

There are many friends and family that are close in distant, but I wanted to get everyone together for one last hurrah! We had a great turnout and enjoyed Cambodian food at the Meadow Vista community center. Once again, I am blown away by all the support I have! My friends, family, and community are all very important to me, and I'm so happy I was able to have everyone together for a night of fun.

Thank you to everyone that participated in my "Open when...." letters, and I'm so excited to bring a piece of comfort along with me. You all truly mean the world to me, and trust me when I say this was a perfect weekend filled with all kinds of emotions. Love to all, and I'll update when I'm in Chicago for orientation!
